Hello! Is this frase correct? If he got up earlier, he wouldn`t have been late for work

The key word here is ”earlier”, which potentially implies an event in the past. If it is referring to a single event in the past - not waking up earlier - then you would use a 3rd conditional form:

”If he had got up earlier, he wouldn’t have been late for work”

So here you have a different condition in the past - ”he wakes up earlier”- and a different result - ”he was not late for work”.

It is possible also for ”If he got up earlier, he wouldn’t have been late for work” to be also a correct form - a mixed conditional with a present condition and a past result. This would be much rarer than the 3rd conditional form I gave above.

”If he got up earlier” -> he has the present habit of not waking up earlier, so get -> got.

”he wouldn’t have been late for work” - past result is that he was late for work because of his present and continuing habit of not waking up early.
